The Merrimac Soccer Club will hosting their Old Home Days Annual 3 V 3 Soccer Tournament on Saturday, August 13th at Beaumont Pitch. The Tournament Committee will place teams in groups. The number of teams entering the tournament will determine groupings. Players cannot be double rostered. Registration deadline is August 8, 2005. All teams meet at Beaumont Pitch for 8:00 AM, first game starts at 8:30 AM. A Representative from each team will be required to referee games while not playing, bring a whistle. Rules / General Information
|
- Games are on the half hour starting at 8:30 AM.
Typically, your team will play a game then sit a game.
- A representative from your team is required to referee a game while your team rests, please bring a whistle.
- Field Size 120' X 90'
- 22 Minute Game - No Half Time - No Injury Time
- Substitution at mid field on the fly - hand slap
- NO PLAYERS are allowed in the goal box area.
Should a defender play the ball in their goal box this will result in a goal for the opposing team.
Should an attacker play the ball in their goal box this will result in a goal kick for the defending team.
- INDIRECT KICK - From touch line in lieu of a throw in and ALL goal kicks from the goal line.
- DIRECT KICK - All fouls and rule infractions will result in a free and unobstructed kick to the goal from the point where the foul or infraction occurred.
